Set around six months after the fall of Naavra, Talemir Starling and Wilder Hawthorne are sent back to the doomed islands to investigate reports of someone or something tampering with the source of the magical Naarvian Steel that all Warsword blades are made of. Their intent is to find the wayward son of the Forge Master and to kill him to stop the degradation of the blades. But are stopped in their tracks when they realise that they are hunting the very ranger they’ve just fought off a bunch of wraiths with – the fierce and beautiful Drue Emerson.

    Christopher Mitchell

    🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕

When World’s End by Mitchell was released, I’ll admit I actually shed more than a few tears. It was the end of an era; an end to the wonderfully crafted Holdfast family. Or so I thought. Turns out, I was wrong – and never have I ever been so happy to admit that. Serpent Dominion is the first book in Mitchell’s new series, and believe me, it’s a stunning opener filled with battles, betrayal and beasts. There’s intrigue, racial conflict and a complicated political system in the world of Athumia that’s bubbling over with magic, power and greed. As ever in Mitchell’s books, before the story begins the reader is given a brief history of that world and a succinct explanation of the hierarchy – which helps the reader begin to understand the structure of the world we’re about to enter.

The BBC Has Set A Dangerous Precedent

    Posted on March 11, 2023March 11, 2023 by SallyAltass

By suspending Lineker, Tim Davie has basically bowed to government pressure; effectively banishing the impartiality that the BBC is renewed for. Davie has, essentially, in one fell swoop, subscribed the Corporation to being the voice box of the government. It is now nothing more than a propaganda arm, parroting the party-line. Freelancers in the future will be terrified of voicing their negative thoughts of the government with the threat of suspension hanging over their heads.
